My forties was probably the greatest decade to date. The only problem was, I didn't realise it until much later! I was in the best shape of my adult life, I had youngish kids, I was busy all the time, I was out a lot and had buckets of energy! Oh, and I looked GOOOOOOD! Why didn't I document that time in my life with a fabulous photo shoot to celebrate myself? Well, hindsight can be a terrible thing. What I would give to see my forty-something self in photos today; to be able to show my daughters how their mama looked when they were little - don't get me wrong...I'm happy with who I am today but there are certain parts that just aren't the same as they were then!
